Female, Schema Theory
Your character believes that learning is accomplished as students elaborate upon and organize their memories. Unlike other avatars, your’s advocates that learning is the result of repeated reflections upon events, places, and times that lead to metacognition. Over time, memories form complex schemata that assist with storing increasingly complex information. Your character would argue that learning and memory are inseparable: memory is required to show that you learned and learning is required to test your memory. What the student “knows” is what is in their head, so testing each student, individually, for what they recall is the best way to know if students are learning.
